The famous Irish rock band U2 will
give a concert in Istanbul on September
6, 2010 during their U2
360° Tour.
The concert will be held in Istanbul's Atatürk
Olympic Stadium (map), 23
km (14 miles) northwest of Sultanahmet in Istanbul's western suburbs.
The drive from Sultanahmet or Taksim
Square to Atatürk Olympic Stadium normally
takes about an hour due to traffic
along the 0-3 Europe Autoroute (Avrupa
Otoyolu),
and may take more than that on the
day
of the concert.
