Many visitors to Turkey do not need a visa, and others can obtain one quickly and easily at the airport or border-crossing point when they enter Turkey. It depends on which passport you have. Here are the countries/passports that do not need a visa in advance.

If your passport is from one of the countries listed below, you should apply for a visa in advance of your trip at a Turkish consulate, preferably in your own country. You probably cannot obtain a visa upon entry to Turkey.
