One of the beauties of
the Su
Otel is that it is hidden
away on a back street (map),
out of the traffic bustle and nightclub
noise of Bodrum.
Although it's not difficult to get
to, it can be difficult to find the
first time you visit it it.
From Milas-Bodrum Airport
The best way to travel from the airport
to the Su
Otel is by the Havaş
Airport Bus. The
bus takes you to the Bodrum
Otogar (bus terminal: see
the map below), from which you can
walk to the hotel. (If you plan to
rent a car, do it later from within
the town, not at the airport.)

Airport (BJV) to
the Su Otel. It's a good idea to contact
the hotel in advance for advice
on parking
and getting your luggage to the hotel.
Or, stop at the big Shell fuel
station on the right (north)
side of Kıbrıs Şehitler Caddesi (map) and telephone
the hotel from there to ask for guidance.
It is sometimes possible to find street
parking on Mars Mabedi Caddesi (map)
near the hotel (though not on Turgutreis
Caddesi or 1201 Sokak, neither of which
have any parking), but you may want
the hotel's advice for this. (Turgutreis
Caddesi is a very narrow one-lane,
one way street eastbound, with heavy
traffic. It is not possible to stop
on it for more than a minute to unload
luggage.)
Otherwise, there are several
covered pay parking garages (Kapalı
Otopark) near the bus
terminal (otogar) in
the center of Bodrum. It's about a
10-minute walk from the bus terminal
to the Su Otel.

Walk to Su Otel from Bodrum
Waterfront
Find Gerence Sokak going
inland (north) from Neyzen
Tevfik Caddesi, the waterfront
street around Salmakis Bay (the western
of Bodrum's two bays). Gerence Sokak
starts between Neyzen Tevfik Caddesi
Nos. 34 and 36. It's about a 10-minute
walk from Neyzen Tevfik Caddesi to
the Su
Otel.
There are several small signs along
the way.
Follow Gerence Sokak, which curves
around to the left, then is more direct,
all the way to Turgutreis Caddesi, the
narrow one-lane, one-way (eastbound)
street. Turn left (west), and beware
the traffic on this street as you walk,
looking for small "Su
Otel" signs.
