Undiscovered Turkey - Holidays to Turkey

Havas airport buses run between Milas-Bodrum Airport and the bus terminal (Otogar) in Bodrum.

Havas (HAH-vahsh) buses depart the airport after every flight arrival, and they depart Bodrum Otogar two hours before every scheduled flight departure. The 45-minute trip costs YTL15. (Thanks to Ellen Bearn for the update!) More...

Otherwise, airport taxis have a lock on the airport transportation market at Milas-Bodrum Airport, because vehicles picking up passengers at the airport must be licensed tourism minivans or buses.

In other words, your hotel can't just send a car to pick you up! It's got to be a tourism-licensed vehicle.

A taxi from the airport to Bodrum costs YTL75 (the rates on the sign to the right are now a bit out of date.)

Lots of buses and minibuses pass by on the Milas-Bodrum highway 2 km (1.25 miles) east of the International terminal, but a taxi won't agree to take you only as far as the highway.
