Selçuk,
the farming town 3 km (2 miles) from
the Ephesus
archeological site, has a number
of good small hotels and
lots of comfortable, congenial little pensions to
serve travelers coming to visit the
ruins.
If you favor large, modern four- and
five-star resort hotels, there are
plenty of them in Kusadasi,
the cruise-ship port and seaside resort
town 18 km (11 miles) southwest of Ephesus,
readily accessible by frequent, inexpensive
minibus.
