Kusadasi,
the cruise-ship port and seaside resort
town 18 km (11 miles) southwest of Selçuk (Ephesus),
serves visitors who want sea views,
extensive shpping and nightlife, and
cruise passengers debarking for a day-tour
to the Ephesus
archeological site.
Many
visitors are sun-&-fun escorted
tour participants.
Hotels in Kusadasi tend to be modern and
relatively simple but adequate. Noise can
be a problem because of traffic and
the town's party atmosphere.
Keep this in mind when you choose your
room.
An exception is the lovely Villa
Konak,
an oasis of calm Ottoman-style charm
right in the town center, an easy walk
to everything. More...
If you want to stay closer to Ephesus,
see Selçuk
Hotels.

The
Villa Konak (above) is a lovely
exception to the rule that most
of Kusadasi's
hotels are modern (below). |
