Akköy Village House, in Akköy, 11 km (7 miles) southeast of Ürgüp in Cappadocia, Turkey, is perfect for a few days' getaway to authentic Cappadocian village life.

The only short-term visitors you'll see in Akköy are your fellow guests at the Village House.

Accommodations at Akköy Village House are Cappadocian in inspiration and decor, but modern and comfortable in appointments.

The eleven guest rooms are quiet for sleeping, cozy for sitting (each has a fireplace), and efficient with private bathrooms. Two rooms are in caves and have whirlpool (jacuzzi) tubs. Several rooms can accommodate three people, such as a small family. All have central heat, TVs and telephones.

Free Wifi Internet is available in the lobby and on the panoramic terrace.

The panoramic views of the Cappadocian countryside are one of the attractions of the inn, as are the informal events with themes of village life: cooking, baking, preparing foods for storage, gathering wild mushrooms, etc.
