Nevşehir's airport at
Tuzköy has daily flights from Istanbul,
but most flights use Kayseri's
Erkilet Airport. More...
Nevşehir is the land
transport nexus for western Cappadocia,
with a busy Otogar (bus
terminal).
If you ride a bus from a distant city,
it'll probably come to Nevşehir, and
you'll probably continue to your final
destination (a Cappadocian
town) by minibus.
Unfortunately for travelers, in 2010
the city moved its Otogar to
a new location far to the southwest
of the city center, making transport
to and from towns like Avanos, Göreme,
Mustafapaşa, Uçhisar and Ürgüp more
time-consuming and expensive.
Here's how to get to Cappadocia
from other Turkish cities.
