Elkep Evi Cave Houses,
in the Esbelli neighborhood of Ürgüp,
Cappadocia,
is an elaborate inn with a variety
of cave or inn guest rooms, public
rooms and outdoor spaces, including
a wide,
grassy
terrace
with some of the finest panoramic views
in Ürgüp.
There's good variety among the guest
rooms, as Elkep is among Ürgüp's
larger cave inns, with 21 rooms in
three different houses of 7 rooms each.
Most guest rooms have private terraces,
and bathtubs in
the modern private bathrooms. Two non-cave
stone rooms (for people who feel too
cooped up in a cave) have showers only,
as
does the three-room Hilltop
Suite,
with two guest bedrooms and a salon.
Some of the newest rooms have private
hamam (Turkish
bath) style bathrooms.
In one house, all the rooms have twin
beds.
If your traveling
party has 8 to 14 people,
you may be able to reserve one of the
three Elkep houses just for you,
giving the nice feeling of having your
own private Cappadocian
villa.
Elkep Evi's breakfast room is on its
own grassy terrace, with wonderful
panoramic views.
Nice little architectural and decorative
touches abound, making Elkep Evi visually
interesting all the time.
Your host is Mr Haydar Haykir,
an experienced hotelier who personally
oversees every aspect of the hotel's
building, development and operation.
When you contact Elkep Evi, mention
