books," has a good selection
of its own English-language publications,
and those of other publishers as
well.
Homer is the publisher of my book Turkey:
Bright Sun, Strong Tea,
which is for sale at the Homer
bookshop as well as in other
Istanbul bookshops, and online.
The shop is in Beyoğlu just
a block south of Galatasaray
Square off İstiklal
Caddesi (map).
Standing in Galatasaray Square, find
the modern scupture that looks like
a bundle of stainless steel tubes,
walk past it and downhill on Yeni Çarsi Caddesi. Homer Kitabevi
is a small shop on the right-hand side
of the street about a half-block down.
