How can you not stay on Istanbul's Kutlugün Sokak, the "Street of the Happy Day"?

If you're looking for really good, inexpensive lodgings right in the midst of everything, have a look at the Terrace Guest House, the Antique Hostel, and the Cosmopolitan Park Hotel.

Grocery shops, travel agencies, and the inevitable carpet shops round out the street's offerings.

There's a bit of traffic on the northeastern half of the street because of the Four Seasons, but it's slow and usually quiet (see map below).
