The Dentur Avrasya Grup operates
passenger ferryboats on numerous routes
up the
Bosphorus in Istanbul,
sometimes duplicating the routes of
the TurYol ferries.
Their website,
in Turkish only, of thoughtless design, is
only minimally useful. Some schedules
are provided, but you have to click
a lot to get them. Only a few fares
are given. Clear maps or directions
to the docks are not provided.
May through September, Dentur Avrasya Bosphorus
cruises depart from Kabataş, Beşiktaş, Üsküdar and Avcılar. At other
times, cruises depart reliably from
Kabataş and Beşiktaş, but cruises from Üsküdar
and Avcılar may be suspended due to
low demand.
As with TurYol, the round-trip cruise
takes
about 1-1/2 hours. Fare
is TL10.
Continuous departures from about 07:00
am until 21:00 (9:00 pm), after which
departures are every 15 minutes until
24:00 (12:00 am, midnight).
Dentur Avrasya's voyages to Heybeliada and Büyükada in the Princes' Islands (Adalar) depart
six times daily in winter (mid-October through early April), with more voyages
in the warmer months. Fare is TL5 one-way.
This is a weekday-only commuter service,
with one voyage departing Bebek at
breakfast time, and one voyage departing
Eminönü in early evening.
This is Dentur Avrasya's most active
route, with boats departing Beşiktaş
and Üsküdar continuously every day
from about 06:00 am until 01:15 am.
Boats depart from Avcılar, on the
Sea
of Marmara shore west of Atatürk
Airport and Küçük Çekmece, for
the Princes'
Islands during the summer
months from mid-May through September.
