Istanbul's Kabataş ferry docks, on the European shore of the Bosphorus north of Karaköy and south of Dolmabahçe Palace, serve fast IDO catamaran passenger ferries running on these routes (map):

— Kabataş-Karaköy-Eminönü-Bostancı

— Bostancı-Kabataş-Karaköy-Eminönü

— Pendik-Kartal-Bostancı-Kabataş-Karaköy-Eminönü-Bakırköy-Avcılar

— Kabataş-Eminönü- Kınalıada- Burgazada- Heybeliada- Büyükada- Bostancı (schedule)

Note that this last route takes you to Istanbul's Princes' Islands (map).

Traditional Şehir Hatları ferries also depart from Kabataş for the Princes Islands.

Traditional ferries (map) also depart Kabataş for Üsküdar on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour from 07:00 am to 09:30 am, and from 16:30 (4:30 pm) to 20:00 (8 pm) Monday through Friday.

Traditional ferries also steam from Kabataş to the Asian dock of Harem, with its Asian intercity bus terminal, Monday through Friday several times between 07:10 am and 09:10 am, and 17:50 (5:50 pm) and 19:15 (7:15 pm).
