Taksim
Square, at the northern
limit of Beyoğlu,
is the center of the more modern
and upscale portion of Istanbul.
Cumhuriyet
Caddesi (Republic
Avenue) runs north from Taksim
to the districts of Elmadağ, Harbiye, Nişantaşı and Şişli,
some of Istanbul's high-status
addresses.
It's
no wonder that most
of the city's 5-star luxury hotels
are here. Expect to pay
at least TL250
to TL500
for a double room in any of these
places.
