Mono Suites is a small suite hotel in a very convenient location on a relatively quiet street near Sultanahmet Square.

Styling recalls Art Deco, furnishings are modern, comforts are in place: air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibars, free Wifi, hairdryers in the bathrooms.

The "suites" are really more in the character of hotel rooms, Some, such as Rooms 301 and 401, are quite small—but also inexpensive. Front-facing rooms receive morning sun, others may receive some afternoon sun.

The two rooms on the top (5th) floor qualify as junior suites: they're larger, each with its own small private terrace. The elevator/lift goes only as far as the 4th floor, so you walk the last flight to the 5th-floor rooms, but the absence of elevator equipment is one reason the 5th-floor rooms are larger.

The basement breakfast room is surprisingly cheery with colored tiles and skylights that let in the sun.
