Bursa's modern Intercity
Bus Terminal (Sehirlerarasi
Otobüs
Terminali), called Terminal (tehr-mee-NAHL)
for short, is a useful facility north
of the city center, with buses to all
parts of Turkey, including frequent
buses to Yalova for the fast
ferry to Istanbul.
However, even Bursalilar (citizens
of Bursa) complain about how time-consuming it is to travel from the Terminal to
the city center. Although the distance
is not great, traffic is so heavy that
it may take from 30 to 50 minutes to
make the trip.
Luckily, the trip itself is not expensive.
City buses run frequently
between the Terminal and various parts
of Bursa, and cost only YTL2.
If you're traveling between Istanbul
and Bursa, you should consider going
by Bursaray (metro), bus and the fast
ferry dock at Güzelyali. More...
