Eceabat run guided tours
by car or minibus of the Gallipoli
battlefields. A seat in the minibus
costs about US$20; a private tour
for one to three people costs about
US$125.

tours of the major northern battlefields from TJ's

Troy-Anzac Tours
The oldest tour company in Çanakkale has

Some travel agencies in Istanbul may
want to sell you a battlefields group
tour from Istanbul for about US$60.
This may be the same US$20
tour with the Istanbul-Çanakkale public
bus fare and the agency's commission
added. Buying a tour package in Istanbul
may add convenience to your travel
plans, but you can probably do as well
by buying your own ticket at the bus
terminal and signing up for the tour
in Çanakkale on
your own—and you'll save
money.
You can also visit the Gallipoli battlefields
from Istanbul on
an overnight
excursion by rental car, or by
bus, or on a six-day self-drive
tour that includes Gallipoli, Troy and
Mount Ida,
Bergama
(Pergamum), Ephesus and Kusadasi.
