Antalya
Airport is 10 km (6
miles) east of Antalya's city
center. If you're coming with an
organized group, you'll probably be
taken to your hotel by bus.
Havas airport shuttle buses connect
Antalya
airport's Domestic
Terminal and the city
center (maps).
The Havas bus stops
at the Sheraton
Voyager hotel,
the stop for minibuses to Kemer,
and the Antalya
Otogar (intercity bus
terminal) before ending its journey at
the Turkish
Airlines office in the city
center (Selekler) not far from Kalekapisi.
Tickets cost TL10
for the 30-minute trip.
Atlasjet offers its
own free shuttle buses between the airport
and the city—a good reason to fly on
Atlasjet. More...
Unfortunately, other
than the Havas buses,
there is no public transport except taxis to
and from Antalya Airport, 10 km (6 miles) east
of Kalekapisi, the center of
Antalya.
This makes local taxi drivers
very happy!
Here's
the airport taxi cooperative's website. (Click
on "Prices"
or "Antalya Airport Taxi
Price List.")
You should see a fare
signboard near
the taxi rank at the airport as well.
A taxi to
the center may cost TL20
to TL30
in the daytime. To go to the far reaches
of Konyaalti
Beach can
cost TL40
to TL45.
