few days outside istanbul with a toddler

Dear TTP community,
I'll be in Istanbul for work in late October and plan to have my 1 year old with me. I'm considering arriving a 2-4 days early to enjoy a warmer climate than my Northern european home, and some more nature than my urban environment provides me.
I'd prefer not to travel too far, or take another flight, as I am solo with the little one. But a few hours journey would be ok.
I like to get off the beaten path, love the seaside, like walking in nature or strolling in charming towns. My little one appreciates room to move around, be it beach or park or garden.
Two things I have spotted that might be options are Büyükada and Agva... what do you think? How long a stay do either merit?
And other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
