This question is really for Carrie! I would love to stay at your hotel when we get to Olympia, but we don't want to make reservations until we are closer to the date as our schedule can change. Out of curiousity, what are the chances of getting a room last minute? And, if you are fully booked, where would you recommend as second place? - June

Hi June....Yes, there will be rooms available....If I remeber from your previous posts you are travelling in early June ( is that correct ?) ...Don't worry about having to make early reservations but it might be nice to either send an email 1 or 2 days in advance from the road...just to let us know that you are coming or .... a quick telephone call from your previous location before Cirali. If you need directions to Cirali from another location in Turkey please let me know.

We will probably be in Cirali on June 4th & 5th unless our itinerary changes. I believe your children will still be in school and you will not be in Cirali yet. - June

Hi June..you are correct and being in the middle of the week ..our children will still be in school..but my husband will be there ( the other half..LOL ) will you be driving through Antalya??..if so maybe a meet up there...let me know..

Regretfully, I did not get to meet up with Carrie, but I want everyone to know that Cirali is a wonderful place to visit. What a surprise it was as we wound our way down a steep mountain to get to this serene and beautiful area of Turkey. Carrie - I can understand now why you have so many pictures of flowers posted on this bulletin board. The wild flowers were absolutely amazing! This is truly a peaceful and relaxing area which should not be missed. - June

thank you both for the lovely compliments ....I was so surpized, over-joyed and happy that in yesterday's Sunday times in the Travel section there is an article about my favorite little place in Turkey where I get a chance to spend 3 months over the summer. The article gives an overall impression of the Cirali and Olympos area including the beach, scenery and history..along with transportation and accommodations details.

I was also truely honored that our hotel “Canada Hotel” was also mentioned in this article.
